Fall for the cuteness… Kipling is the princess of our house now.
Her ears used to be bent like this. She’s growing so quickly.
See the color coming into her face now as her nose grows like Pinocchio’s (with much less fibbing), and the ears are almost up all the way. She likes this flattened raccoon toy the best. She says she’s way too grown-up for the binky toy…
I hope everyone has a great weekend… and, if you dare, read my last short holiday story: Seducing Santa by clicking HERE.
Merry Christmas,
Justin, Zippy, Kipling, Ajax The Gray, & Eartha Kitt’n

All of these great Kipling comments came from the old Posterous Blog:

Zippy, you are awesome adorable! Merry Christmas to the cutest male puppy of the Bogdanovitch and birthday partner household. π Kipling, don’t forget to play with the binky toy every now and then…it’ll garner you treats and princess pets galore.

They do grow up so amazingly quickly. Treasure the puppy moments–and let them carry you through the terrible teens…! π

I can see why Kipling is the official princess. She is beautiful. I’m also working on my paragraph, so stay tuned!

Oh my goodness! She is the CUTEST! That first photo is gorgeous! I think I’m going to start sharing these posts with my 6 year old puppy-mad daughter Isabella. π
22 days ago Justin responded:
Thank you, M! The sensationalization of Kipling’s purported size magnification is sooo wrong: this interpreted from several long barking retorts!
22 days ago Justin responded:
Thank you, Tonya! I believe Kipling’s teeth have reached the terrible teen years well before the rest of her — Again, Kipling sits there and bats her eyes at your comment (She’s signed up for Jessica Rabbit’s beauty and charm school, Class of 2014 — you have to do that while she’s still a puppy because if you wait the classes are full and Jessica has a strict entrance policy with no exceptions. Paris Hilton’s lapdog couldn’t even break this rule)!

All work and no play LOL
That comes from Kipling’s Royal Interpreter of Bark: Come play with me! I may be a Princess but I love to dig in the dirt!
22 days ago Justin responded:
Kipling says to Isabella: I can’t wait to share more of my photo-life journey with you!
Zippy grumbles beneath his breath: I knew Kipling would end up taking up all of my previous Blog action… (he gets more treats and walks to make up for all the diverting puppy attention…)
Thank you, Rebecca!

She is just gorgeous, Justin!
22 days ago Justin responded:
Thank you very much, Christa π
And Kipling wags her tail faster than a weathervane in the film Twister to thank you too!

I love the way we watch Kipling grow. It’s like we have our own dog (which we dont lol)! I started showing the pictures to my kids and they love her too. Especially my six year old daughter. She says “Kipling is like a Star” and of course she thinks Kipling is our dog who lives far away.
Thank you Justin for sharing this picture with us (and Kipling)!

Kipling loves your comment and is very happy to share the spotlight with anyone π
Thank you Thank you…
She does demand higher wages, more treats, and a larger starwagon!

She is just gorgeous!
21 days ago Justin responded:
Thank you Amber N! Kipling is getting so tough right now… in a funny way. She thinks she can do anything (and then proceeded to get into trouble biting through phone charging cords today like licorice whips)!
20 days ago Jane Isaac responded:
Oh – the ears are up! Isn’t she a cuttie? I opened this photo to a round of squeals from all the family. Tell Zippy we love her too:-)
20 days ago Justin responded:
Yeah, both ears straightening and her pale tan color is darkening just that littlest bit more even without any sunshine in this part of the world. She is the spitting image of what Zippy looked like at 3 months. Zippy had a much longer tail and it touches the floor. He got a clean vet bill of health today and is 97.7 pounds! He hears your wonderful comment and bows to your good taste π
20 days ago DionneLister (Twitter) responded:
Kipling’s picture has made me make funny squealing noises only reserved for acknowledgement of absolute cuteness! Give her a kiss from me!
19 days ago Justin responded:
Kipling told me she loves Australia (and Australian shepherds, as well!) . . . she thinks you’ll pick her up from the airport when she gets old enough to fly on her own without my constant supervision π
Thank you, D, for the nice words.

Ok, this dog is too stinking cute!!
15 days ago Justin responded:
I know… she’s such a feisty butterball right now… really engages and listens to Zippy, Master to her zen pupil… these photos have over 18K views on Stumbleupon! Really amazing π
So how old is Kipling now and do you still have zippy? Love this blog also following your Justin blog:-D
Hi Kim, and welcome. I like to think of this blog as a writing blog, but Zippy and Kipling (and the two kitties) changed that! Zippy is six and Kipling just turned one this month. We got her in early November of last year. They are more insistent than ever that I place a photo on every post, even if the subject has nothing to do with pets or animals. Thank you for your kind words.
Gracie is 2 half, has lots of energy and demands attention. Simon the kitty is Gracie’s best friend, It’s so funny when Simon boxes with Gracie . Gracie tackles him like he’s a football:-D my husband and I have to remind her he’s just little. Gracie would never hurt him she just gets over excited and doesn’t know when to stop and I have to save Simon . So I’d say they take up quite a bit of my day. We also have a bearded dragon named Rango. He’s awesome to. I’m glad to be here. Give everyone a pet for me.
Best to your critters, from the islewood farm crew π
